Schoolhouse Rock

From 1973 to 1985, a generation of kids watching Saturday morning television learned the function of conjunctions and the preamble to the U.S. Constitution with the help of this series of educational animated musical shorts aired during commercial breaks. It covered Science, History, Math, and Grammar. Among the more famous segments were "Bill," "Conjuction Junction," "Interplanet Janet," and "Lolly, Get Your Adverbs Here." One of the composers was Bob Dorrough.
