I've been planning, with the help of people far more experienced in such things than me, a workshop in which students can make their own ears and tails. We have a rather... extreme budgetary process, but I still figured a month(so I could make this happen by Halloween) was long enough for them to look over my proposal and tell me how much of what I asked for I'd get. Instead, I get silence for three weeks and when I go in today to find out what's going on, I find the head of the council sitting in his office doing nothing because they haven't had any money in a month! They could have blasted well told me that when I started, for chrissakes. It also doesn't help that the guy who gives the council the money which they then give to us happens to be the VP of our club and the president's roommate. The president assures me that the VP will get no dessert until he fixes this.
Oh, and Student Activities doesn't make it very obvious either that registration is not a one-time thing, but yearly. So we aren't allowed to have any facilities(even meeting space) until the re-reg goes through, which they at least let us submit late because we didn't know. That's been a week and a half in the works, so I guess I'll have to go over there this week as well to ask what's going on. It doesn't help that my previously useful officers have become sluggards and layabouts, so I have to do everything. Before, I wanted to impeach them. Now I want to harpoon them. _________________ NodeWorld Cycle Word Count: 307,150

Now I'm told that they have no money, the guy won't be in his office because he can't do anything anyway, and when I e-mailed him, he claimed he never got my budget request and then didn't reply further. I've found that I'm not the only one, however, so I'm raising an army to assault the USG main office today. They will pay the price for their lack of foresight. _________________ NodeWorld Cycle Word Count: 307,150

Sheesh. That's really annoying.
Have fun with the assault. :D _________________ SPark, the Purple Dragon, aka. FlameSong Firedancer, aka. Bladespark Trethoniel, aka. Serapha Rhiannon, aka Aidan Rhiannon, aka YinWolf, aka Amorphos. Yep, it's crowded in here.

So far it seems they've gotten wind of it. I got an e-mail from the bloke today asking me to resubmit everything despite the fact that today was supposed to be the last day we could put in for the money itself which hasn't been awarded yet. This may be a trap, but if it is, the fight will continue. _________________ NodeWorld Cycle Word Count: 307,150
