I love Christmas movies! Very Happy Cool

Some of my favorites..... (in no particular order)

It's a Wonderful Life
White Christmas
Miracle on 34th. Street (1947 original is my favorite, but I enjoy the 1994 John Hughes version too)
Unaccompanied Minors
Ernest Saves Christmas
Elf
Home Alone 1 and 2 (I've seen Parts 3, 4 and 5 as well for completeness' sake, but this is one series where I'd definitely say the first two are the only ones I really find worth watching)
I see HerbertWest listed Batman Returns and Gremlins- I enjoy both movies too, but I find it hard to think of them as Christmas movies- lol. But yes- both are set at Christmas.
In that vein then, I'll list Houseguest (1994 Sinbad and Phil Hartman movie), which does include a scene set at Christmas at the end. Smile

Jingle All the Way
I'll Be Home for Christmas (1998 movie with Jonathan Taylor Thomas)
Santa Claus: The Movie (Not a top favorite really, but it's a pretty fun movie.)

All I Want for Christmas (1991 movie- one of my all time favorites!)
The Nativity Story (not totally Biblically accurate, but very well done regardless)
Joyeux Noel (2005 movie that depicts a real life Christmastime truce in 1914 during World War I- beautiful movie well worth seeing!)
The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3
The Night They Saved Christmas
Christmas with the Kranks (based on John Grisham's novel "Skipping Christmas")
Deck the Halls
A Christmas Carol (2009 Disney CGI movie- one of the best interpretations of the book I've ever seen! It includes lots of my favorite Christmas carols too! Smile )
A Christmas Story 1 and 2
The Preacher's Wife
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (just for the sheer goofiness of it! lol)
Santa Buddies
The Search for Santa Paws
Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups (These last three movies are from the "Air Bud" series of movies and are actually really good Christmas movies that speak to the real meaning of Christmas- about the birth of Christ and salvation He came to bring)
One Magic Christmas
Richie Rich's Christmas Wish
Jack Frost (1998 movie)
To Grandmother's House We Go
Here Comes Santa Claus

...........................
There are probably others I'm forgetting...... (and I'm going to put the Muppets all together separately Smile) If we're including specials and TV-movies and such-

An American Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol (1999 TV-movie with Patrick Stewart as Scrooge)
A Flintstone Christmas
The Flintstones' Christmas Carol
A Flintstone Family Christmas
(and while I'm at it- "The Flintstones"- "Christmas Flintstone" episode too)
Yogi's First Christmas
Yogi Bear's All Star Comedy Christmas Caper
Casper's First Christmas
A Jetson Christmas Carol (episode of "The Jetsons")
Christmas Comes to Pac-Land
How The GLO Friends Saved Christmas
The Smurfs Christmas Special
'Tis The Season to Be Smurfy
The Christmas Raccoons
Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas
A Garfield Christmas
Mickey's Christmas Carol
Frosty the Snowman
A Charlie Brown Christmas (all time favorite- mainly because I love Peanuts and because Linus tells us that Christmas is all about Jesus Christ the Savior, Who was born to save us from our sins!) Very Happy Cool Smile

The Muppets
-----------------
The Muppets Christmas Carol
Christmas Eve on Sesame Street
A Special Sesame Street Christmas
Elmo Saves Christmas
Elmo's World: Happy Holidays (a great Sesame Street special that details the origins of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Christmas! Great to see Prairie Dawn directing a Christmas pageant! Smile)
A Sesame Street Christmas Carol
Elmo's Christmas Countdown
Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas
A Muppet Family Christmas
Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas
Fraggle Rock - "The Bells of Fraggle Rock" episode
It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie
A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa
The Great Santa Claus Switch
The Christmas Toy
John Denver and The Muppets: A Christmas Together (one of my all time favorites because it features Christmas carols like "Silent Night" and others and features beautiful puppets depicting the birth of Jesus at the first Christmas!
Smile )

And probably tons others I could name............ Merry Christmas!
