I'm really into pop, but I don't have a definitive singer/band.

Music is a passion of mine, so I try not to limit myself to any specific genres. Although lately I have been listening to a lot of indie music.

My favorite band right now is Alkaline Trio and my favorite song by them is "Every Thug needs a Lady" and "Sorry About That."

I love music. Smile (Well, good music, that is- lol. But that's highly subjective, of course.) I generally am open to listening to all kinds of music.
I generally favor rock 'n' roll, but I'm also good with pop, heavy metal, ska, reggae, jazz, classical, new wave, alternative, disco, calypso and I'll even tolerate country every now and then. (That's actually my least favorite genre- lol.) I also like rap and hip hop, but I'm rather selective with that, as I am with all music. I try to follow Philippians 4:8 when it comes to things like this and find music to listen to that is uplifting and draws me closer to God with excellent, true, praiseworthy themes...... Anything praising Jesus is good. Very Happy
I generally like a lot of Christian rock bands, but I enjoy a number of secular artists as well. I really dig a lot of classic rock- stuff from the '50s , '60s, '70s- and I certainly love the '80s, of course! (And some songs from the '90s, 2000s and 2010s too.) And I can even hang with some swing from the '40s or music from the '20s or '30s. And of course I love a lot of music from the 1800s, 1700s, 1600s, or even older- though those would all be either classical instrumentals (Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Bach, etc.) or hymns. (I love Charles Wesley hymns particularly!) And of course, Christmas carols and songs- LOVE those any time of year.
Very Happy Cool

Favorite bands and songs would be WAY too many to list- but here's a small selection-

Petra
Stryper
Switchfoot
Relient K
ApologetiX
Supertones
Rich Mullins
Keith Green
Larry Norman
Michael Card
Michael W. Smith
Steven Curtis Chapman
Carolyn Arends
Chris Rice
Amy Grant
James Taylor (LOVE his music!)
Carole King
John Denver (LOVE his music!)
The Beach Boys
The Beatles
Simon & Garfunkle
Carpenters
ABBA
Jim Croce
Billy Joel
Elton John
Journey
REO Speedwagon

and still others I could list........... (By the way, I'm also no good at limiting myself on lists of favorites- lol)

I grew up on 60's and 70's music, as that's all my dad would put on in the van.

But as I got older, I started listening to Metallica and went on my own discovery of music that spoke to me.
