Because why not? xD

The last movie I watched was "Captain America: Civil War". I thought it was better than "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and that it was more of an Avengers movie than the former, but the ending REALLY threw me off in many respects.

I would still recommend it, though.

What about you?

I still want to see "Captain America: Civil War"- I hope to see it soon.

I did finally watch "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" though- it was a fun movie in some ways, but I had some serious issues with some of it as well. So it's a very mixed bag for me. (But as a Superman fan, I definitely had to check it out.)

Other movies I've recently watched- again, an eclectic mix, but here goes- "Santa Claus: The Movie" (1985 movie with Dudley Moore and John Lithgow), "Dick Tracy" (the 1990 Warren Beatty movie- I've wanted to see this since I was a kid- finally got around to it! LOL) and "Police Academy 6: City Under Siege". Very Happy Cool

We watched The Bad Pack last week. But only because of Jeep Swenson, who is a personal hero of mine.

Jeep Swenson? The same guy who played Bane in "Batman & Robin"? That's neat- I didn't realize he was a wrestler, but it makes sense.

Jeep did indeed play Bane in Batman & Robin.

I don't get all the hate for him from fans. He was told to potray Bane as a mindless brute, and it was not his fault for that, as it lies straight at the feet of Joel Schumacher.

From all accounts of people that knew Jeep, he was a really nice guy.

Most recent movies I've seen, lately, are Finding Dory (stay until after the credits <hilarious>) and Independence Day: Resurgence.

I agree- I'm pretty sure Jeep played the role just as it was written. I rather enjoyed his performance in any case, even if it wasn't exactly as the comics generally portray Bane. The costume was pretty dead-on though.

I enjoyed Jeep's performance too.

Guess people just wanted someone to blame and blamed Jeep because he was the actor in the role.

The last movie I watched was just yesterday, it was Batman v. Superman. That was the second time I saw it. I really enjoyed it and plan on watching it again a few more times.

I don't totally like all that's gone on with J.J. Abrams' take on Star Trek, but some aspects I do enjoy. In my opinion, Star Trek: Beyond was the best of the last three Star Trek movies (i.e. the Abrams' movies). It actually felt a lot like an extended episode of the original series.

It's a bit of a thing with JJ stuffs.

He uses lense flares a fair bit in his projects.

J. J. Abrams produced but did not direct Star Trek Beyond. It was directed by Justin Lin. J. J. Abrams directed Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Really? Yeah- "WarGames" is a classic. I loved that when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in forever though. There was actually a sequel made a few years back, but I think it only has loose connections with the 1983 original classic starring Matthew Broderick. (I'm pretty sure Broderick is not involved in the sequel at all.)

But that's okay- I've only recently watched some '80s and '90s movies that I've been meaning to see for quite a while.... in the last few months I've watched for the first time- "Santa Claus: The Movie" (1985 movie with Dudley Moore and Jon Lithgow), "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th. Dimension", "Dick Tracy", and "Police Academy: Mission to Moscow". (The latter two movies I can still remember seeing trailers for when they were first airing in theaters- I've wanted to see them since then, but never got to it until just recently!)
