Not sure how popular or well known outside the US, very well known within North America. I'll wager he is not that obscure internationally, and you may have at least heard of him. Hope that helps? Confused

It sure does it Wink

The only college educated, anthropomorphic character from the '60s I know of is a certain moose who went to Wossamatta U on a football scholarship, together with his pal, Rocket J. Squirrel. That character being, of course, Bullwinkle J. Moose! Very Happy

CONGRATULATIONS, FERNIN!! From the Nation's Icebox, Frostbite Falls (International Falls), Minnesota, it is indeed Bullwinkle J. Moose! Feel free to scrooch the other contestants now, Fernin.

Where it says -36(F), that's right where the magic happens!

Congratz, Fernin!

I was a huge fan of Rocky and Bullwinkle, but I can't assure you if they were popular or not. Their cartoons were only showed a couple of times and had been taken off the air within months. What a shame Confused

I forget if it was Cartoon Network or Nickelodeon, but one of them used to have it on at least twice per day, loved that show, even if some of the different aspects of it weren't quite as great as some of the others.

In the inimitable words of Rocky...

And now, here's something we hope you'll really like!

(Not to put down Mayor West's round at all, of course, fantastic choice, you just don't get many relevant opportunities to use that phrase Smile ).

Awesome choice! Bullwinkle is a great, funny cartoon (and pretty well ahead of its time too.)
Very Happy Cool
Yay for Bullwinkle and Rocky. Smile
