Ah duck hunt. First off, i'm sure we all want to kill the little dog. But was this game amusing or what? I was ace at it when i was a kid (sure i was 2 inches from the screen but thats beside the point). I just discovered the other day that not only can u control the duck with the other controller BUT that "clay shooting" was when you were shooting clay disk. And to think i was shooting clouds all theses years.
Any fond memories of this game for you?

| I guess Duck Hunt never got followed up with a sequal because of the nature of the thing it was simulating. By the time Super Nintendo or later N64 came out it probably would have been considered very un PC to develop games that simulated(which in many peoples minds means the same thing as endorse) bloodsports like shooting ducks. Personally I like ducks. I would never harm a duck no matter how much fun the game was. There is at least one dog out there I would really like to kill though.

I was obvioulsy naive, as I didn't think about putting the gun
a few inches from the screen, until years later.
Until then, I'd always sit back a few feet away, like a good
player should.
Boy, was my face red when I saw a friend of mine just go up
to the screen , put the gun there, and start blasting away.

| Being right on the screen takes the fun out of it...because you'll never lose unless you waste all your bullets on the dog...

| Oh yeah, I remember my brother and I would switch off controlling the duck with the 2nd player controller and the gun back in the day and try to make it go crazy so as not to let the accurate shot go through.
