Cameron Frye's house from Ferris Buellers Day Off recently sold for 1 million dollars and some change. It was located in the Highland Park suburb of Chicago.

News article

I wish that was mine! Very Happy

I wish that was mine as well (well, in fact I wish I have the million dollars, but I'm not complaining =P).

That's cool- (with editing) Ferris Bueller's Day Off is a great movie- lots of favorite scenes there. And Cameron's house is iconic, just as much as Ferris' house.

IceDragon, mi amigo, if you can find it, and I am sure it is subtitled, watch it! It is a pretty apt slice of '80s americana. My older siblings were in high school in the early to mid eighties, and this is how I saw them and their friends.

Another fun one is Better Off Dead with John Cusack. Great, wacky, '80s romantic comedy. This one probably is subtitled as well.

I share this with you in thanks for sharing all your great links to things I had never seen! Very Happy

Lots and lots of classic lines. As a bonus there are some animation scenes interwoven into the story.

cool. Yeah, I know a little Spanish and try to practice where I can. (I like to learn whatever I can of any language really- it always helps to keep learning and practicing so you can communicate with people all over the world.) Cool

I love your attitude. I tried to learn a few languages myself such as Irish, German, Italian, and French. Too bad the School level for those was rather awful. I keep practicing irish though.

I bet your spanish it's just as good as your english Very Happy

Oh, I almost forgot... one of my closest friend happens to have the movie in his collection. So, I'm gonna watch it as soonest I can (pretty busy -and bossy Razz- week).
