My name is Kyle and I just started a petition aimed at Shout Factory & Saban Brands to put out an official 25 complete episode release of The Littl Bits which was a popular show made in Japan in 1980 and then rebroadcast on the Nick Jr. Line-Up in the late 1980's and early 1990's.

Sorry to say BUT
Its not going to happen, ever. , all that Saban currently owns the rights to is the English dubbed audio, so you could get that on a CD and thats about it.
Saban never cared to renew the license for any of their 80s English Dubbed anime in the early 2000s, therefore the rights to the video is solely owned by Tatsunoko productions in this day and age. You would have to persuade Saban to re-license the video from Tatsunoko (highly unlikely) and thats if Tatsunoko wants to even license it to them again. (doubtful, or they will ask a lot of $$$)

Same can be said for 90% of Saban's dubbed anime, they didnt care to retain the licenses to the video, only the audio! Thats why just about 0 of all of the Saban produced anime has yet to receive a DVD release.
Im pretty sure the only Anime Saban flat out owns is "Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics"

I remember watching The Littl' Bits a littl' bit as a kid. Wink
It's one of the few anime cartoons I actually like. It'd be great to see it on DVD- but I'm not a huge fan or anything, so I'm mostly indifferent on this one. Hopefully something can be worked out though and I'd certainly like to see it available for the fans of the cartoon- but it doesn't look too hopeful, unfortunately... But then- you never know what may happen down the road...
