It can be like a good ol Minnesotan potluck, a bunch of slightly different hot dishes, and jello salads. Everybody show up with something and enough to share!

Looking forward to it! I'll bring the CED's.

Here are a few of my CED related kids shows...

The Hobbit is neat because it is the only official release that uses the original soundtrack to this day!

Some more sweetness!

The Children's Treasures movies I remember watching in elementary school. The Red Balloon is too good!

The Devil in Daniel Mouse is a great one, the VHS release is a Nelvanamation tape, which I also have in original package. There is an unrestored version on the Bluray Rock and Rule which was based on the short.

Some very classic Scandinavian produced films!

My ALL TIME favorite kids show, and the genesis for collecting CED's in the first place, The Great Space Coaster! This and the VHS release are the only official releases of the 250 episode show.

Lots of these titles are incredibly expensive on VHS but are pretty cheap on CED. Though, most people can pick up a cheap VCR, not so easy for a CED player. The sound is definitely better, and the video is slightly better with no terrible degradation.

Woah man, that's some neat collection right there! I especially loved your "The Great Space Coaster" CED (plus those foreign titles, bet those were not cheap).

Can't... resist... watching... show Laughing

Thanks, IceDragon! Like I mentioned, they're not too hard on the wallet, as long as you are in the US. Very Happy They usually cost more to ship than then the price of the disc, so where possible I order a few at a time. The Dunderklumpen disc cost under $10 US with shipping, so not too shabby. And the collector community is super helpful. People usually buy discs in large lots and often give away duplicates to other collectors, for instance, I just picked up over 50 discs from a collector near me for the price of petrol and a lunch.Wink

Well, don't leave me hanging people?! Where's the pictures?! Very Happy

Yeah, my ongoing problem when it comes to talk prices is that I ALWAYS think like a foreigner/outsider. Obviously those prices are pretty good for you Razz!

Itīs also very nice to hear what the collecting community has to offer. You dont hear that kind of kindness too often when it comes to vintage objects (though, once again, Im more like thinking of the video-game collecting community).

And you are welcome, obviously. Looking forward to see more of your collections! (and If I find the darn camera, you will see mine Razz).

Jjaj nice! I promise to try, but you just don't have an idea of how messy I could be. But I think I had some pics lying around on my useless Facebook... mmm, let me check.

EDIT: Ok, I'm an idiot. I cannot remember where the pics are, and I dont have any backups on my PC (plus, the camera whereabouts remains unknown). Can you guys please shoot me on sight? Razz

Still have a few more to post. Smile Just picked up the Turtle wagon complete series set. Really do like the packaging for this release. Also, I had the Transformers Matrix of Leadership complete set but sold it....might try to pick it up again, or just get the complete series set in the box similar to the complete Japanese release set.

Sadly, I still need to watch a lot of what is shown. Just very glad to have them in my possession to be able to do so whenever I can. Smile

FANTASTIC!!! Shocked That is one fine bit of collection! Can I say that I am a little envious of the Lion Force Voltron? Well, I am. The Turtles van is awesome, didn't Scooby have a set in a van?

I had forgot all about Bump In The Night until seeing it now in your collection.
Very cool stuff! Cool

Great collections, everyone! Very Happy Cool
Sometime I will try to get around to posting some pictures of the various videos I have......
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! was indeed released in a Mystery Machine van DVD set as a complete series.

And the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Wagon DVD set is radical, man- bodacious! Awesome! Bossa nova!........ Wink

I didn't realize Bump in the Night had gotten a complete DVD series release- good to know. I remember watching that some in the mid-'90s, but it was never a big favorite for me- but still, it's a cool show.
I do LOVE The Adventures of Teddy Ruxpin though- that's way cool! And Care Bears is great too.
