Now I know this is a Web site for the great 1980s cartoons, many of which I love, and normally I just report on news of '80s cartoons coming to DVD when I hear about it. But I also love a few select gems from the 1990s. This is one of them- "Bobby's World" was a fun cartoon I used to watch some in the mornings before going to school- it reminds me in some ways of "Muppet Babies" as Bobby, an elementary age school kid, is always having grand adventures in his imagination, and having to deal with the rest of his Generic family. ("That's Gen-eric!"
) Howie Mandel was the creator and he would do a live action intro for each episode.
Anyway, while limited episodes have been released to DVD before, now the entire 80 episode series is coming to DVD! It will be available through Amazon.com's CreateSpace manufacture-on-demand DVD program and should be available sometime in Winter/Spring of 2012 (January-March time frame).

Yay for Bobby's World! It's one of the best '90s cartoons, donchaknow?
