yes....though I kind of think of him as more of an associate
(that is- he probably wouldn't be part of the immediate team, but he is definitely a member of the extended team, if that helps...)

(Well, Billy Batson would probably actually say in this situation, "Holey Moley!")
Yes, you got it- it's Tawky Tawny!
From the I'm guessing little-remembered The Kid Super Power Hour with Shazam show. And of course from the comic books before that.
The Shazam cartoon is a pretty cool DC Comics cartoon with appearances from a number of classic Captain Marvel villians- including Dr. Sivana, Ibacc, Mr. Mind and Black Adam.
And Tawky Tawny has always been a favorite oddity of mine.

Awesome and Shazam! The walking Copyright lawsuit that is Captain Marvel was an interesting very little-remembered show by many.
That tiger was a completely strange add-on for the comic book and show. Its like they producers were just throwing ideas at each other and said lets throw a talking tiger in a tweed coat and tie into it. It'll be fun for the kids.
