cannot remember the name of a cartoon/toy

I am a child of the 80's born in January of 1980.

I have a vague memory of a cartoon/toy and am trying to locate a picture or even just the name of it!

here is the description of the toy I had, it was after 1987 (but before 1994)
It may have been older than 1987, just giving the date for some context

the toy was plastic and 2 colored, orange/brown and white.

It had 1 (maybe 2) rotating domes (half sphere) that had a "door" that opened like a bike helmet visor. The domes sat ontop of some car/cart that had large wheels in the back and may have had a place in the front for a harness for a creature that pulled it.

It was a toy from a cartoon/show based in space on another planet

A race of humans from another planet, and another time, crash land on Earth during the age of the dinosaurs. Their enemies crash as well. They manage to salvage some of their technology from the wreckage, harness and domesticate several dinos. The humans get the dinosaurs cooperation by using their ability to communicate with them telepathically. Their enemies bend the dinos will through mind control. They then use them as beasts of war and resume their battle.
