| There was a cartoon/movie from the 80's where the toys came alive and yelled "people coming, people coming". Sort of the original "Toy Story", but I swear it's from the 80's. Anyone remember it? They had to fall back into their original place or would be forever frozen if they were caught out of place.

This wasn't a cartoon but maybe
Try
The Christmas Toy (86)
Toy Story bears more than a slight resemblance to this creation by Jim Henson.
The toys in the playroom are free to move about when no one is around, but they must remember never to be seen, or they will be frozen forever.
Last year's favorite gift ,a stuffed tiger insists on leaving the playroom on Christmas Eve, and goes down to the Christmas tree. The other toys try to stop him. He goes anyway and manages to unwrap this years toy, Meteora, Queen of the Asteroids who doesn't seem to realize she's a toy...(sound familiar yet?)
Rugby and his friends in the playroom returned in a series called
The Secret Life of Toys

| Oh. The Christmas Toy...that's IT! Thank you so much. It has been driving me crazy. I kept trying to describe it to everyone and no one could remember, even my kids that watched it 1,000 times! Thanks again. Now I can sleep at night! LOL
