I vaguely remember watching, when I was very little, one or two shows of a cartoon that featured a blonde girl/woman that lived in the jungle, wore some type of fur outfit (maybe pink?), and could communicate with the animals very well. She dealt with a man who lived in the outside world (maybe a military type?), and I think drove a Jeep.

So maybe I made it up, but if anyone remembers a name I'd love to know it!

Perhaps Jana of the Jungle

Part of the Godzilla Power Hour.

A girl becomes lost in the Jungles of South America, ad Grows into Jana of the Jungle. Communicating with the Animals and with the aid of her choker necklace/razor sharp Frisbee ( a gift from her father just before she falls off the boat they are in and becomes lost) she battles the evil forces of who ever is dumb enough to try and harm the jungle or one of her animal friends.

Dr. John Cooper was her love interest, and played the the ever so useless damsel in distress part. Getting himself into traps and situations that required Jana to rescue him constantly.
