Lost Cartoon

Hi there,
I have done a serch for this cartoon but can't seem to find anything.
It was a cartoon shown here in Australia in the 80's.
This cartoon used to scare me as a child..but I still watched it...hehe.
It was about giants and they had humans as pets who used to fight each other.For example the giants would put each of their girl humans down on the dirt and they would start pulling each others long hair.
I think the humans would try and work out how to escape from the giants.

An alien race of giant humanoids called the Draags were the dominant species
on the planet. The Om (human) were a subjugated race who the Draags thought
were just marginaly intelligent pests underfoot,unevovled savages at the most.

A wild baby Om was left orphaned after a group of Draag children
played too roughly with his mother. A little girl Draag felt pity on
the baby and took him in as a pet. He grew into a young adult very
quickly in Draag terms,(Draags had very long lifespans)and learned
about the Draag culture. One day he got lost in the wilderness, and
found the wild Oms. He was raised in captivity, so he had much to
learn about his own people if he was to survive.

The Draags would leave their bodies behind during their nightly meditations.
Their disembodied consciousnesses took the form of bubbles , and floated
away to the moon, where the mind bubbles could land on headless body
statues and experience more physical pleasures, then they could in their earthly bodies.

The Oms managed to launch an attack on the Draag's defenseless surrogate bodies.
Draag society was thrown into chaos after the sudden and violent loss
