Cartoon with some laser light rings

Hi!

I am trying to find an old cartoon where the good guys had some laser light rings or something like that.

I remember the good guys are pointing the laser lights rings to the sky together(possibly in the intro or at the end or could also in be many episodes)

In some episode the rings were copied by the bad guys.

The cartoon might also be from early 90s.

I saw it when i was young on Cartoon Network.
In Europe in Finland.

Captain Planet immediately comes to mind at the mention of rings used by the good guys- and that is a great 1990s cartoon.

I'm not sure if they used rings for sure, but another cartoon, this one a 1980s show, that came to mind is Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

I'm not a die hard captain planet fan at all!

OH! And you are totally remembering an episode with Captain Pollution! As he was the evil villains version. "Super Radiation, deforestation, smog, toxins, hate". He only appeared like twice (well...they were 2 part eps so...4). "Summit to save Earth" and "a mind is a terrible thing to waste". You're probably thinking for Summit to save Earth though as it was just awesome.
