I'm trying to find a show about a boy and monsters. As I recall the kid had a big blue monster friend named either Blue or Boo and they went on adventures in the monster world which he entered through the boy's closet. There was also an evil yellow monster who wanted to eat the boy
My memory is sketchy but I recall a few instances distinctly. The one that sticks out the most had a scene where the yellow monster is chasing the boy though some hallways. the boy either trips or gets caught on something and the monster catches and starts to eat him. Then it dissolves to him in bed, the indecent having been a dream and he's woke up by the blue guy who silently motions for him to come into the closet where he suddenly turns into the yellow monster and I believe that's when it cut to commercial.
I know it's not Tales from the Cryptkeeper because I'm sure there was more than one episode involving these characters. I thought it was called Monster Mania or something similar but I can't find any info on it.
