Shame Pinbot isn't on there. Had many great times with my older brother playing it.

I need this in my life. The NES was such a huge part of my childhood that I am working on getting an NES sleeve on my left arm.

Although it looks like it can, you cannot use old NES cartridges on the system.

It'll probably be the size of a NES cartridge.

It sounds really cool, but why the mini-me version? It seems like they could just rerelease the original Nintendo Entertainment System and some choice video games as well. In any case, I hope Nintendo makes a way to make the NES cartridges compatible with this new release- that would be fun.

It would be awesome, but sadly, that's it with regards to games.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the cartridges are actually bigger than the freaking console.

Yep.

They were nearly the size of the original NES, so I'd imagine them being bigger than this re-release.

My mam absolutely loved playing Duck Hunt, every Sunday afternoon, whilst my dad watched the football.

Great days.

I remember staying up all night, one time, playing the original The Legend of Zelda then going to work the next day.

I also stayed up all night upon getting my NES. SMB, Double Dragon and Rad Racer were the games I played.

I didn't know they make a cartoon based on it. Sounds cool, though.

They did. 90's though, but it is pretty cool.

Only released 3 dvds and they only have 2 episodes on 'em.

I can get a photo of them if you're interested?

"Double Dragon" is an awesome NES game! That was one of my favorites. (And I'm pretty sure there was a second and third one in the series too.)
While you're checking out the cartoon, you might like to check out the live action 1994 "Double Dragon" movie too. Smile

I don't know if Double Dragon has been ported to other platforms, but I know there is a Game Gear version- I was quite proud of myself for beating that game on my Game Gear some years back. Smile
Yeah- the cartoon version might be good, but I haven't heard much good about the movie- (but I still wouldn't mind seeing it sometime.) Add it to the long list of bad video game movies. Laughing

DUDE! That's one heck of an achievement! Double Dragon games are quite hard.

I'll get them tomorrow, as the battery is dead on my picture taker.
