Fav systems of 80's: Commodore 64 (RULED!), Atati 2600, NES
Fave games:
C64:
Maniac Mansion
Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders
The Legend of Blacksilver
Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar
Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny
Space Taxi
Sammy Lightfoot
others I am sure but can't think of right now
Atari 2600:
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Yars' Revenge
Video Pinball
Mountain King
others I am sure but can't think of right now
NES:
The Legend of Zelda
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (LoZ was better, though)
Super Mario Bros.
Super Mario Bros. II
Maniac Mansion
And, IMHO, Flashback, Out of This World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Metroid on SNES ruled. F-Zero, Super Mario World and Mario Kart were pretty cool, too._________________

yeah I know this thread is over a year old, but I just found it and I have an opinion on just about everything, so here's mine...
the only game system I played in the 80's was the NES so that defaults as my favorite
as far as favorite games...
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Dragon Warrior
Contra
Duck Hunt
and my least favorite and worst memories of a game:
1942...why? because after hours upon hours of gameplay to beat through the 99 levels of the game your only rewards were the words "The End" and a serious case of Nintendo thumb

| Quote: | | And can you actually figure out what you're doing in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and how it ties in to the movie? | As to how it ties in to the movie, no clue other than the whip. But yes, I figured it out (and beat it). I also beat E. T., back then. As for C64, I thought of others I loved: Space Rogue (from Origin. The same people that made the Ultima games) and M.U.L.E. and Arctic Fox (from Electronic Arts. The people that currently own Origin) and Starflight. So many games, so little time. As for NES, I did like SMB III. I just couldn't think of it at the time._________________
