Hey, Webmasters:

Giant Freakin' Robots are coming.

It's here. Finally -- the word we've been waiting for. The announcement of ALL the TRANSFORMERS appearing in the film.

On Friday, 8/18, at 11am, the film's writers - Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman - will announce the character names via a live webchat on Yahoo.

For fans, this is our chance to interact with the writers, ask them questions via text and hear their answers live!

A live chat. With the writers. Of TRANSFORMERS. 'Nuff said.

I can't wait to see Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ratchet, Ironhide and Bumblebee on the big screen!

80's fans don't get too excited, the new designs are almost unrecognisable.

BUMBLE BEE (approved design)

OPTIMUS PRIME (approved design)

STARSCREAM ( toy model)

Are these actual designs from the movie? If so- Optimus Prime looks okay...(not the best, but okay...)- but the other 2 are really off!

Optimus and Bumble Bee are definitive. And Starcream is the toy model.

Well, thanks for the look at the Transformers, even if they don't all look exactly like I remember from the cartoons!
Hopefully, the movie will have an awesome storyline and dialogue to help make up for such things. Smile

For all disapointed Transformer fans look it on the bright side, if this giant robot based movie success financially, then maybe some producers will give green light to the Evangelion Trilogy!!!!!

I have been a transformers fan for years and this plain disgusts me. I just dont understand why they would do this to a fanbase that is mainly over 18- 30 in age.
