I am trying to find the name of this 80s cartoon

I don't remember much but i hope what i know may help someone help me. I tried posting this before and didn't have much luck so i though maybe i would try again . It is an old cartoon from the 80s it wasn't on very long but i remember coloring books and toys that were made during the time. Most of what i can remember was that there was a small group of younger girls i believe they were princesses of some sort, but one of them had a giant purple owl as her pet and she could ride it. I also think that it had to do with moon and stars and stuff but i may be getting that mixed up with another one. but that is all i remember sorry i am not much help.

Maybe, The Moon Dreamers (86)

It's alot like what you described but I don't remember a purple owl that they rode on. There was a bear, lion, peacock, ram, rabbit and I think a dog. There was a purple thing called the dreamkin that could pass for an owl-thing. I know that this cartoon had lots of toys and coloring books.

I could have sworn i met someone else looking for a cartoon with someone riding a purple owl a few months ago. But I can't remember what it was
