How to describe Pee Wee's playhouse...
Well, whenever I looked at screen shots or what not of it I always joked "that show is on something" thinking it really couldn't make a show like that. Now that I've watched it...that show is on something and I have no idea how they made a show like that. The secret word was fun although I can see parents not liking it.

Why does everything talk?!?!?!

Why not? Why shouldn't your armchair and clock talk to you? lol Laughing
(Sorry to get into some crude humor here, but this makes me wonder if Pee Wee's toilet talked as well... I think I'd have to draw the line there...)

This sounds like a great idea but I dont really understand it when there is already tons of complete home recorded Saturday mornings out there in the underground toon trading circuit. Are you using remastered DVD quality video or something? but then the vintage commercials wouldnt match up in quality. Just some constructive criticism. Always great to see the 80s toon spirit alive!

This sounds like an amazing project, and I am filled with regret that I missed it. Any plans for another run in the future?

Looks like the link in the original post still works. You may have to dig to find the youtube link, though.

Lately I have been downloading all sorts of commercials from video sites, it's great nostalgia. I have also purchased a lot of those DVD sets of old commercials, but, they tend to be pretty lite on '80s stuff.
