The complete original '80s series for Robotech is coming to DVD in one big complete series set!
It will be released October 18, 2011- with a set for "Robotech: The Macross Saga", and "Robotech: The Masters Saga" and "Robotech: The New Generation".
Classic '80s anime!

Hey! Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors is coming back to DVD!!!
Mill Creek is rolling out a Volume 1 set with the first 32 episodes on February 14, 2012. (There's a Valentine's Day gift for ya. )
(They're also doing a "Best Of" set with 10 episodes releasing that same day.)
According to this article below, it looks a second volume should follow shortly thereafter, which would hopefully get the rest of the episodes not released to DVD yet (33 of them)- finally officially released.

I knew the show was based on a character Martin Short did for Saturday Night Live and such shows (SCTV as well, apparently)- but I didn't realize Hanna Barbera did the animation. Well, cool to see yet another Hanna Barbera and '80s classic come to DVD! |

The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimley will now be complete on DVD!!! The Complete Series DVD set releases on January 29th. The show previously had a single episode included in Warner's release of "Saturday Morning Cartoons: The 1980s" DVD a few years back. Maybe some of the other cartoons on that set will get full releases soon too....

Finally I can add one of my favorite 1980s cartoons to this list- Inspector Gadget! Wowzers!  
I posted about this in another thread, so I'll just repeat it again here:

This is an '80s classic that is a particular favorite for me, so I am quite excited to see this show finally get a full DVD release in Region 1. (As it has been available in other Regions.)
A company called New Video has apparently gotten the rights for the series now and is finally releasing "Inspector Gadget" in Season DVD volume releases.
Season 1 is getting released in 3 volumes on DVD and then Season 2 is getting a one volume DVD release. All 4 of these releases are coming out on September 24, 2013!
And on top of that, the "Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas" reunion special from 1992 is getting rereleased to DVD on October 8, 2013 as well!
