I mean you can tell how much that show is inspired by the 1982 sci-fi classic all the way including the designs to idea of cops against cybernetic criminals and genetic makers.

Hadn't really thought about it before, but you certainly may be on to something there. Does that make Bulletproof the cartoon version of Rick Deckard? Smile Cool

Blade Runner influenced a lot of Sci-Fi all through
the 80's/90's and today. This movie along with Terry
Gilliam's movie Brazil introduced the idea that the
future may not be so pristine well maintained and clean.
Foggy trash filled neon streaked streets are a staple
of future-noir films of the 80's

If it wasnt for the timing id be more tempted to
compare C.O.P.S.(88) to Robocop(87).
I'm not sure an animated series couldve been created
in such a short time

B.P.Vess's/Bulletproof's origin story seems to parallel
Murphy's/Robocop's without the corrupt business
conspiracy subplot. A dedicated cop is critically injured
saved by cybernetic implants, and returns to duty as
a cyborg to bring down the criminal organization
running rampant in the city.

That's a good point, Straydog.
Bulletproof does bear a lot of resemblance to Robocop now that I think about it...

Robocop meets Blade Runner is what i describe the show. And who thinks Nightshade is as foxy as Priss?
