CARTOON ABOUT DETECTIVES/INVESTIGATORS DOGS.

Hi, congratulations for the website!
Where a was a kid I loved a cartoon but I don´t remember the name. The characters were 5 detectives/investigators dogs : the principal character was a little/pupyy bloohound red and white, and the squad includes : a female poodle, one greyhound (grey and very coward), one St. Bernard (old and intelligent) and the last one was big and brave grey dog (I remember calle "Duke") with a red ribbon in his neck.
Please, was the name of this great cartoon?

Sounds like part of the The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo/Puppy Hour called The Puppy's New Adventures.
The Wikipedia page

It was a sequel to The Puppy Who Wanted a Boy (both a cartoon and a book). The Puppy parts were rebroadcast and a new season added as The Puppy's Further Adventures. The St. Bernard was Lucky, the gray mutt with the red bandanna was Duke, the greyhound was Dash but Dolly wasn't a poodle. The second season also had Glyder, with big ears who could fly.

Yeah that cartoon rocks. But the best ones by far are the ones with scrappy-doo. The movies are pretty awesome too though, a must see if you haven't watched them before. Very Happy

What's the issue with Scrappy-Doo? I've never had a problem with him. I like Scrappy just fine. He's pretty funny in a lot of cartoons. I really hated what they did to him in the first live action movie- of course, that whole thing was way out of canon. Both it and its sequel are pretty horrible. (The 2nd. one is a little bit more bearable because of all the classic monsters it brings to life.)
The 2 live action TV-movies are WAY better in my opinion- much truer to the cartoon series.

I just never found him funny and when he was there, he was always front and (unfunnily) center.

Well, that's fine- I know everyone has different opinions on him. In some ways, his character did help prolong the Scooby-Doo franchise in general...

really? A Pup Named Scooby-Doo is one of my all time favorites. Maybe it's just because I grew up with that show, but I also think it's really funny.
But there are few incarnations of Scooby-Doo that I don't like very well... (just the aforementioned first 2 live action movies- and then "The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo" [primarily for subject matter] and "Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue" [I have watched a few episodes and just can't get much into this series...])

I always loved Sherlock Hound (26 episodes). It was one of my favourite cartoons when I was a child.

Don't think that's it. I remember maroon or purple robes, with like yellow rope belts but I could be wrong it's like a peripheral memory thats been driving us nuts.
