I'm going INSANE! Please help me remember

This is an old cartoon with koalas. I don't think it's the Noozles or that other one. All I remember is a land with Australian animals and and a special place with bubbles and there were shadows in the bubbles. I think a boy even spoke to his father or grandfather through the bubbles when he held his hand up to it. I just have little flashes of the show since I was young at the time, but it was a good show and I would love to know the name of it. Thanks.

Are you sure that you're not
remembering the Noozles?

The events you describe happen in
later episodes of the series when the
little girl goes to her koala friends homeworld

The koalaland authorities had arrested and imprisioned
the little girls father, and many others in sealed bubble
cells.

This sort of reminds me of Dot and the Koala. All the Dot series were tv specials, I think.

I can't find Dot and the Koala but I have found Dot and the Kangaroo. You might recognize the characters or something:
