..it's EVIL! EVIL I TELL YOU!

Racing game was to fast and I kept dying.
Joystick wouldn't let me go left in space invaders making me a trapped target.
Weird adventure game made no sense and had this weird light wall thing that kept killing me.
DK kept throwing these barrells and they couldn't decide if they wanted to go off the edge or down the ladder that i was all stealthy hiding on (jerks!!).
Couldn't figure out to start this other game, bah.

Yikes man, apparently you have to have this thing called "patience" in order to survive atari.

Wow- your first time playing Atari? I never owned one as a child, but I did play it here and there as a kid. My favorite game was Millipede. And Pac-Man is always great. I also recall playing E.T. on Atari- and I honestly don't think it's nearly as bad as everyone says.
I've also played Raiders of the Lost Ark on the Atari 2600- the first Indiana Jones video game ever. Very Happy
And yes, you do need a certain level of patience and flexibility with the graphics. Cool
But it's cool and a lot of fun to play.

I still play atari from time to time. I was excited about a year ago, when at a flea market , I found wireless controller for my 2600. I got home and the still worked. I don't do well playing the atari games in general, my reaction time from playing 360 and ps3 works to my disadvantage. javascript:emoticon('Very Happy')

Hehehe, i can understand about the reaction time. Wireless controllers you say? hmmmmmm

My friend who owned the Atari i was playing at the time (who is super awesome btw) decided to give me the Atari (because, like I said, she is awesome). I now have 1 counsel, two types of joysticks (and a spare), those other types of joysticks and 40 games to try my patience. *twitch* It's both exciting and frustrating.
