i can't remember the name of this cartoon

let's see..i'll do my best here to describe things.

i'm trying to remember the name of the cartoon that consisted of cats (i think they were cats) all dressed up in different outfits - i think they were superheroes of sorts..each with a distinctive look. if they weren't cats, i do know they were animals, and i do know they were walking, talking, etc. and i sorta remember them living within a fortress or something. man..it's really bugging me that i can't find this amongst all the cartoon sites out there.

i remember watching this and, if i'm not mistaken it was part of a cartoon in a time slot that had a rotating cast of mini cartoons. i could swear that each episode had a couple different cartoons within it. so the name of the superhero cat cartoon may be less known than the overall cartoon.

any help?? any questions?

Was it, maybe, Karate Kat from The Comic Strip or SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron?

nope. thanks though. haven't really heard of those ones. but def not it. i should try to search my memory database for more details. i'm 32 now..so this had to be in the 80s when it was on.

i just found the name of it. The Groovy Goolies and Friends. i was remember The New Adventures of Waldo Kitty. actually first ran in the late 70s..but it had to stretch into the early 80s for me to remember.
