how many precious cartoon hours did your local tv market waste on useless programming? here in Fresno, Calif, had a notorious habit of it.
on weekdays, from 6-8am and 3-5pm, and 6am-12pm on weekends, were the dreaded times to be home, and it was usually that way year in, and year out, on a certain channel(ahem, 53, ahem) anyway. the local indie-turned Fox affiliate here, usually had cartoons on during the hours that i mentioned, and even during one season, they went so far as to start the fun at 530am, on weekday mornings!
in recent years, because of their now-required network regimen, the fun stuff on weekday mornings and afternoons came to a decline and eventual halt.
anyone else have any horror stories to share?
