This has been driving me crazy.

It was a cartoon series that had the characters from Hanna- Barbara and 2 others and they would compete in games.

At the end, the bad characters would always lose.

I know there was Captain Caveman, Josie and the Pussycats, Wonder Twins and others.

PLEASE HELP

Try the HB series,

Scooby's All Star Laff-a-lympics

I'm pretty sure the Really Rottens won at least one episode
on some sort of last minute technicality.

I do recall one episode, I believe, where the bad guys won, once.

I remember it was the Yogi Yahooies, the Scooby-Doobies and the Really Rottens.

Speaking of...did anyone else laugh when Reboot did the Wacky Races spoof? Maha! It was brilliant.

Haven't caught that Reboot episode, but sounds cool.
Wacky Races is kinda similar, but I do believe it came earlier in the '60s and it was just car racing, whereas Scooby's All Star Laff-A-Lympics had Summer and Winter Olympics events.
I love watching that cartoon! That was always a favorite of mine as a child. It was just funny- and it was cool to see so many Hanna Barbera characters together. Captain Caveman was in there, but I don't believe Josie and the Pussycats and The Wonder Twins were ever part of it.
Here's a great page on it (actually part of a great Scooby-Doo website- www.scoobydooweloveyou.com)
http://www.scoobydooweloveyou.com/laff.html
This page gives a breakdown of the winners in the different episodes. Apparently, the Really Rottens actually won 3 times. The Yogi Yahooeys had 8 wins and the Scooby Doobies (no big surprise here, I guess- given the name of the show) had the most wins overall with 15.
