Hello!
I just recalled a movie that I saw many times when I was very young (circa 1985/6).

Here are the details:
- Animated
- Mainly (or only) speaking animal characters
- Possibly a traveling circus/zoo
(this is when it becomes weird)
- Power lines/ telephone poles and wires keep popping into my head
- 2 dogs (one "adult" one "child")
- A can of dog food- The label on the dog food had a picture of a dog holding the can of food- that can had a picture of the dog holding the can of food, and so forth, and so on, etc. etc. Get my drift?
- The 2 dogs were underwater (!!!???) and the smaller dog was counting the pictures of the label. And he kept messing up the amount. I think if he got it right there was a prize or something from the dog food company.

I remember the movie was sort of haunting to me (as a 4 yr old). I really don't think it was Japanese, or if it was it didn't take on the usual Japanese style.

Thanks for your help, everyone. Happy New Year!

This is the best website ever... talk about the definition of efficiency. After posting this I read all the older threads and found that someone had already inquired about it and have since been reading other forums about it. I'm happy to learn that it made the same impression on others. Somehow they got away with passing these dark and deep movies off as children's movies back then. Now we've lost track of reality and everything is rainbows and sunshine.

My birthday is this week, and this is the best one ever!
Thank you!
PS- Unico was my other favorite kid's move Wink
